Sales terms

Last updated 07 September 2026

1. Seller and contact

The Ruudud24 paid featuring service is sold by Securesoft OÜ, registry code 17530831, address Sääse tn 5, Mustamäe linnaosa, 12918 Tallinn, Harju maakond. Questions, withdrawal notices and complaints should be sent to info@ruudud24.ee.

2. Service and price

A public property listing on Ruudud24 can be featured for a fee. Featuring costs €1.99 for 15 days. The price shown to the user is the final price.

A featured listing participates in the featured-listing rotation on the Ruudud24 home page and may, where relevant, be recommended alongside similar listings. Featuring does not guarantee any specific number of impressions, clicks, enquiries or transactions.

3. Placing an order and start of service

To purchase featuring, the user must manage the relevant listing. Before proceeding to payment, the user must tick the unchecked box accepting these sales terms. The adjacent payment action is clearly labelled to start the service immediately; by pressing it, the user expressly requests that the paid service begin immediately after successful payment and confirms awareness of the withdrawal consequences after performance has begun.

The contract is concluded and the 15-day service period begins when Ruudud24 receives confirmation of successful payment from Maksekeskus. At the end of the period, the listing automatically becomes a standard listing if it is still active.

4. Payment and invoice

Payment is made in the Maksekeskus payment environment using payment methods shown to the user and enabled for the merchant. Payments are mediated by Maksekeskus AS. Payment takes place outside the Ruudud24 portal in a secure payment environment, and Securesoft OÜ does not receive access to the user's internet-bank or payment-card authentication data.

For an individual purchase, the invoice recipient name and email are taken from the signed-in Ruudud24 account. If the buyer selects a company invoice, the buyer enters the company name, registry code and the email address to which the invoice should be sent. Ruudud24 does not require a billing address for this purchase. After successful payment, Securesoft OÜ creates a sequentially numbered electronic invoice marked as paid and sends it as a PDF to the selected invoice email address. A hidden BCC copy is sent to Securesoft OÜ for accounting and customer-service purposes.

Securesoft OÜ is the controller of personal data related to the payment and invoice and transfers the personal data required to carry out the payment to its processor, Maksekeskus AS. More information is available in the privacy policy.

5. Provision of service and interruptions

If payment succeeds but featuring is not activated because of a Ruudud24 technical error, please contact info@ruudud24.ee. In that case, by agreement, we will restore the featuring period or refund the fee.

If the user hides, closes or deletes the listing, featuring cannot be displayed publicly during that time. If a listing is removed for violating the terms of use or the law, this does not in itself create a right to a refund, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

6. Consumer right of withdrawal

An individual consumer generally has the right to withdraw from this distance service contract within 14 days of concluding the contract. Ruudud24 provides a permanently accessible online Withdraw from contract function in the website footer. It lets the signed-in buyer confirm their name, the contract being withdrawn from and the electronic address for the immediate receipt confirmation, and then submit the statement with the Confirm withdrawal button. Ruudud24 immediately records the submission time and sends the content and timestamp of the statement by email on a durable medium.

The consumer may also withdraw by sending any unequivocal notice to info@ruudud24.ee; the statutory model withdrawal form may be used, but is not mandatory. The notice is timely if it is sent before the 14-day period expires.

Because the 15-day featuring service starts immediately only after the consumer has expressly requested this by pressing the clearly labelled immediate-start payment action, a consumer who withdraws during the 14-day withdrawal period must pay only for the part of the service supplied up to the exact time the withdrawal notice was sent. The retained amount is calculated by elapsed time as a proportion of the total 15-day service and the agreed price; the unused part is refunded. Amounts are rounded down to whole cents in the consumer's favour. For example, after exactly 7 full days of a €1.99 service, the supplied proportional value is €0.92 and the refund is €1.07. Exactly half of the 15-day service is reached after 7.5 days, not after 7 days.

If the required immediate-start request or information was not validly recorded for an older order, Ruudud24 applies a consumer-favourable full-refund fallback for a timely 14-day withdrawal instead of deducting a proportional charge. After the 14-day statutory withdrawal period has expired, the ordinary no-reason withdrawal right no longer applies. This does not affect rights arising from a defective service or other mandatory law.

7. Refunds and credit notes

A refund due after withdrawal is made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after Ruudud24 receives the withdrawal statement, normally using the same payment method used for the original payment unless the consumer expressly agrees otherwise. The service is stopped for the payment concerned when the withdrawal is recorded.

If an already issued invoice is reduced because of a partial or full refund, Securesoft OÜ creates a credit note that refers to the original invoice. The credit note and refund record are retained with the original accounting records.

8. Complaints

Please send complaints concerning the service to info@ruudud24.ee. Describe the problem and, where possible, include the listing link and the email address used for payment. We generally respond to a consumer's written complaint within 15 days.

9. Dispute resolution

We first attempt to resolve disputes through negotiation. If a consumer and Securesoft OÜ cannot reach an agreement, the consumer has the right to contact the Consumer Disputes Committee operating at the Estonian Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority or a competent court.

10. Other terms

In addition to these sales terms, purchases of featuring are subject to the Ruudud24 terms of use and privacy policy. Changes to these sales terms do not reduce mandatory consumer rights arising from contracts already concluded.
